Having the option to save a part of a Widget designer patch as an component , so you can import/merge a component into a later Widget patch would be a great option

I think it is already on the long lis of feature wishes. If not I will add it.

I think it would help if you are able to copy something out of your "default" or "preset" project, open another one and paste it there, wouldn't it?
If this is an option I think this easy solution could be realized in the near future. A real import option would take more time, as it is way more complicated.
