WD Cut and Paste

Postby alverman » Mon Jun 25, 2012 8:41 pm

Would not it be useful to control the cut / paste for all objects in WD?
If you want to move one or a series of controls on a page, you lose all the other references

Hi Alberto,

do you mean for example, you select a fader and a Fader Input node that is refering to this fader. If you copy this you want the new Input node to refer to the new Fader??
sorry this would be mean very different programming, and that is not easy at all to implement for everthing. In addition it is very prone to errors as well. We decided that it is the safest when you copy to combined nodes, and that they keep their relation. But in scripts and tools it will not be possible, sorry.

I hope for your understanding

Hi Alberto,

are you talking about cut and paste e.g. faders and nodes to other pages in order to copy/paste them and delete the old ones!?
I will check if this is already on the list and if not, add it onto.
