Layer Visibility per Camera

Postby Sam Kriemelmeyer » Tue Jul 17, 2012 4:48 pm

From a student...
>>
>> Layer Visibility -
>> The option to be able to turn off the eyeball icon on the layer and have it disappear with out having to alter your opacity or delete the container. great for when working with tons of layers and just want to work on an individual one with out the clutter of the other layers.

my response,"though it could be handy to have i agree, it could also be dangerous. another idea would be to choose visibility PER camera."

Hi Sam,

if I am getting you and your customer right, you want to be able to not render a layer by deselecting a kind of icon like the eyeball from photoshop, right?
Besides being dangerous as you say, of course it is always up to the user to be sure what he's doing.

This possibility could be implemented, but definitely not per camera, as both or all cameras are part of the same 3D space and therefore all renderings the same.

I will add it to the wishlist.
Thanks for your ideas and suggestions.
