I thought it would be neat if you could feed the encoder extension a video and (in a similar vein to the extraction of audio to a separate file) it can export you the isolated alpha channel video, so that you can use it as a mask.

Hi Flo,

this is already possible by using an image sequence of the video and feed it into the image converter.
You can choose if you like to split key and fill, or if you want to have both combined within one file to use the alpha left/right or top/bottom effect.

Using this possibility as well within the encoder extension is on our list.
