Default Text

I have been looking and haven't found anything for it yet...
A defaut text setting (maybe in the configuration tab) would be great!

AND / OR the ability to change multiple Text inputs at the same time using the Multi - inspector.


I have a show where my current Input count is about 400 text inputs - all programed on a timeline. I know there will be more... but that's what I've counted for now...
I know there is probably a way to do this with WD, but I'd like to not have to script a workaround for something that seems as simple as this. (I know it's not... nothing ever is ....)


Again if there is a way to do this, Please please let me know, it'll save me a lot of time - I am setting the font (Myriad Pro), the style (semi-bold), the size (72), and the pixel dimentions (1280 x 1024).... 400 + times! and if I miss one.. I have to go and find it! :'-(

Or a copy/paste option for a text input.

Probably not what you want to hear, but...

If you put all the text files in a folder and give them DMX addresses you could set up a script loop in WD that would change them all one at a time using variables.

the new Text Asset in Version 5.7 should solve that problem.
