Would it be possible to have a way of locking the clip to a specific time on the sequence.

To explain further, multiple clips along the sequence at frame specific places. Double click the clip to expand to adjust a key frame. It is possible if your being too quick to actually move the clip along the timeline.
I know you can expand with the little plus signs but its a quicker method to double click.
Maybe a right click on the clip header and a checkbox for locking the position?????
