Another nice thing would be the use of a 3D mouse (eg.: www.3dconnexion.de or www.spacecontrol.de) to very quickly ad spatial values to the selected layer(s).
Or maybe you could integrate such a mouse in the manager-pad V3 :D

You're right... it is nice to have.

It is a node in WD PRO already. You can link all of the axis of the mouse to 1 or multiple layers (depending on your programming)

But this are "hard coded" links to the layers, right?
Or is it possible to script it that way, that WD recognizes my layerselection in the devices list?

Sorry, since we hav noe WD Pro (yet) i'm only very basic experienced with WD.

Hi!

Am I getting you right, that you want to rotate and adjust the layer positions with the 3D mouse?

Jup, thats right, and maybe scale it as well and psotion the pivot-point via a shift function.
I know it's not one of the biggies, but it would be really cool.

Hi!

As you can connect the output of the Space navigator to whatever you like, you can of course, hook it up to different layers or as well to color settings or whatever comes into your brain.
