It would be nice to have custom views saved in a specific folder so you can load your favorite view when starting a new project rather than defining it for each single project. This is typically interesting when working on multiple projects with multiple operators having their own preferences.

Hi Pieter,

If you have one specific view setup that you prefer you can already create a empty project with your views set up and use that as a template.

Dennis: He's talking about multiple operators working together. Since there is no way to merge showfiles, your solution wouldn't allow multiple people who have to work on one project to all import their view prefs.
