Bind Layers to Sequence

I have recently been experimenting with using the faderboard to drive shows where I have different looks laid out on separate layers and then crossfade between them. It works really well except that I sometimes wind up putting stray active values on layers that aren't supposed to be used in some sequences. This is a problem because it makes enforce defaults clear out the layer.
It might be useful if there were a dropdown in the Layer Inspector to let me bind a layer to a specific sequence. Ideally the behavior would be restricting the layer to only process input from a given sequence, and perhaps automatically hide it when switching sequences.
