when using live-inputs in virtual sites its quiet complicated working with live inputs. i would be nice to group live-inputs or have one inputreference that links to a specific input but to all sites. e.g. "SDI 1" is a link to site1-sdi1, site2-sdi1, site3-sdi1 ...and so on.

We can already do this using the "Attach" button in the inspector:

Basically what you can do is set it so when you click on 1 asset, it will load different capture cards or even files on each machine.


Even when I'm not using virtual sites, I still do this with my capture cards, you can still select multiple layers on different sites and not have to worry about "Site1-SDI1" and so on - you just click "SDI 1" for all of them.
