v5 Warper - How To?

Looking for a Warper Tutorial for v5.
The new v5 Servers come with instructions to use stretch mode only on the Video Driver. By doing this, our Meshes cover 2 screens. Apply that saved x file to a Layer or Output and the Aspect Ratio now changes.
I hope you can understand this problem.

My way around this for now - it to set the output of my Server to DualView - meaning each output is an independent. Create the Warp File for that output and save it.
Then change the Output back to Stretch Mode.

I am not sure this option is viable on my Quad Server though.

Any suggestions? Guides?

Thanks.

Hi Craig,

you are right, we recommend to use the stretched desktop on our servers. This is not a new thing on version 5, by the way.
Having a stretched desktop you have to select "File" - "Strech left" instead of primary screen or "Stretch right" instead of "secondary screen". You will find additional settings for the Quad Servers as well.

Cheers,
Markus

Thought it was new - because of the slip of paper that came with the server saying "NEW DRIVER" use Stretched Mode. :)
So when I Stretch Left - it then only fills half the screen top to bottom. I just need to manually fill the screen or surface.

Ok.

Thank for the feedback.

Hi!

There shouldn't be anything to do manually (besides the warping)! :-)

If you have a stretched desktop it will automatically cover the second physical monitor by selecting "stretch right" and so on...

The "new" driver and the same piece of paper was already shipped with Version 4 as the hardware is still the same. :-)
