random shapes warping

Postby mhdkh » Sun Nov 24, 2013 1:20 am

viva coolux,
Using dynamic warper and then exporting every mesh to the proper layer, i've been in a nice warping journey except when i had to deal with this column on the bottom left.
any advice about how to warp it in a better way since i don't have the 3d object of the shape and i want the content to be more clear on it ?

have a nice day :)

Hi,

I suggest you use a larger grid like a 5x2 (or 5x3 if you need the Y-Linearity) or even 7x2/7x3. This way you can shift the X-Linearity to match the pillar's form. As you mentioned a 3D object would also be a solution.

Also remember that there are only few pixels on your model pillar and your image might look bad simply because there are not enough pixels to make it look crisp and clear.

Best regards
Dennis
