warping different objects at same time

Postby chriss0212 » Fri Dec 12, 2014 11:50 pm

for an upcoming project we have different objects with same geometry but different uv sets on the same place.

- is there any way to warp two or more objects at same time?
- or does the the box support different uv sets and switch between?
- if we can warp two objects at same time can we select overlaying vertexes and move them at once?

thx and greetz

Hello,

I'm not aware of any simultaneous warping that can be done in the warper.

Depending on the warps and the UV sets you might be able to make a universal set of warps for the geometry and another set of warps that only change UV. Can you provide a sample of one UV that changes?

A static geometry asset with variable UV coords sounds like something that would be better achieved with fx/shaders than multiple .x files. Have you considered using the re-map effect or something like it?
