Warping using an existing uv template

Hi guys,

Need your inputs on this, i got a project which has an existing uv template done and a content already prepared for the surface. How can i use the existing uv template for the warper? I know that you need to load it as a texture but apart from that what are the steps that needs to be done? The surface is a bit complex. And do i need to use the 1:1 planar mapping??

Hey,

1. Set your template as background
2. Set your mesh to "grid", so that you see through it
3. Position your mesh over the part you want to remap
4. Edit -> Apply planar map
5. Use the template as texture for your mesh
6. Move to desired location
