GMax warping

Postby alverman » Mon Aug 16, 2010 1:50 am

Good evening,
I'm trying to do the warping with the help of gmax.
I followed several tutorials but I could not run the file generated on PB.
I uploaded the file in gmax PB_Native_4to3 to 4.5 PB
I folded in half the grid with an angle of 90 degrees
I exported using the utility maxscript pamdoras box and I run PB GMax X Files Exporter.exe
The grid created with PB Warp appears with four areas marked A, B, C, D while the one created with GMax see the whole area of white

What could be the problem?

Thanks, Alberto

Adjustment.
Mesh made with gmax 1.2 work in PB exports generated only if resident in gmax.
If you use the conversion utility Pandoras box the mesh does not work!

Hi,
could you please again explain what you meant with your last post?
It works only when you use "Export selected" --> Flightsim Aircraft Object instead of using the PB Exporter under Utilities Tab?

When using the PB Exporter, you should go to Hierarchy Tab before, click in Reset-Section on [Transform] and [Scale].
And the Pivot of the object should be located in 0,0,0.

Best regards,
Julia
