Extending beyond 4096 on an single output

Postby iisinsane » Thu Aug 24, 2017 6:53 am

I have seen it said that V6 is only limited by what the video card can output. I can output 4k just fine on a single output. i was trying to out output a 5760x1080 out of the M4000 card. The computer will output just fine at this resolution, and Pandora will behave normally, but it only seems to output black when put into full screen mode. It plays fine when I drop the horizontal to 3840. Just wondering if there is a workaround of if this is a limitation of the software.

Windows 8.1 Build Rev 15220
Hardware is a Server Pro Dual with M4000 card

Did you use a custom Mode? This would and will not work.
Where did your EDID come from? Which device is providing it?

As long as you are getting a vaild EDID (with Display-ID Extention) everything should work fine.
