effects on output layer - screwing with multi sequences/fade

Hey guys.

So Im having a couple little issues and was wondering if anyone could help..

Im running a manager with 3 players and a jog shuttle.

I use all three machines to spread 3x 1920x1080 images across my set.

I run two sequences, 1 for my show cues the other for my holding slides, logo and adverts etc.

Now I learnt a long time ago the importance of only using layers on 1 sequence. If you use 1 layer across multiple sequences then it confuses the faders and sequence 1 fader starts playing with sequence two..

My trouble is, I want to run remap effects on my output layers so I can visualise what the stage will look like with the verious LED surfaces, problem is the output is a layer that is used for both sequences so now my faders on my jog shuttle are pulling both sequences up and down... Is there a work around? How can I remap my output but keep the output layer seperated from my faders..

Thanks in advance...

So I had a brain wave.....

Set all remap FX on a seperate sequence, in my case I created sequence 3. This sequence has no fader assigned to it, so stays live on the output all the time and isn't effected by faders assigned to sequence 1 or 2.

You found the solution I was about to suggest.
Hope it works.
