PBManager- connecting problem

Postby bscav » Thu Oct 26, 2017 11:23 am

Hey,
I have a problem connecting to PBManager with PBserver.
PBManager does not see the server.

Direct LAN connection without LANswitcher.
IP set correctly. PING between PBserver and PC with PBManager - ok, no loss.
Server running in Client mode. Even VNCRemote works fine.
Only PBManager does not see the server in the Assets tab.
After restoring the server to the restore point, for a moment everything was ok, unfortunately after server reset the problem returned.
Changing computer does not help.
Can this be a Win10 problem?

Did I miss something? Where is the problem?

Regards
Mariusz

Hi Mariusz,

with our latest release we are supporting Windows 10: viewtopic.php?f=115&t=4380
Is the Manager in the same Domain as the Client?

Regards
Mike

Hi Mariusz,

Please make sure that the firewall, antivirus system and windows defender are turned off.
Which Windows version are you using? All tests with Windows 10 and PB (Rev 15432) were done with Version 1709 Rev 10.0.16299.19.

Cheers,
Yvonne

Thanks for your replies.
Yes, Menager and Client have the same domain.
My Windows version is WIn 10 PRO Version 1709 Rev 10.0.16299.19.
So it should be ok. It turns out that I missed the last update of PBManager, so I'll check after the update and let you know if it helped.
