pixel mapping

Postby rubendesnoo » Wed Nov 29, 2017 11:16 pm

What will be the easiyest way to map content on a set of video tiles? (5 x 16by200 pixels with some spacing of 32 pixels between each stroke)
Is this the warper of the pixelmapper?

The warper seems te be more difficult because I can't see the warps because the screens are only 16 by 200 pixels.
But The pixel mapper can only be used if the size of the clips is the same size as the pixelmap canvas.....

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hello,

That really depends on your requirements and maybe a bot on your experience with warping and mapping using the matrix patcher. Both should be possible.

couple of questions:

- do you have to be pixel accurate
- should the columns form one large canvas OR is each column filled with some separate content OR do you need both
- what is your content resolution
- what is the output resolution
- are you outputting through the GPU (DP, HDMI, ..) or Network (Art-Net, etc.)
