Triggering a camera to record with Widget Designer

Hi guys,

A client of ours wants to set up a booth which people can enter and record short video message. I would like to build the touch interface in Widget Designer. Is there a function that allows you to control a video camera through WD, or has anyone ever done something like this before?

Is it a normal camcorder?
If you have a Manager with input card you can record the Liveinput.

You can also try to use an external recorder such as a Ki Pro or the like and send TCP commands.

I can not remember if the Ki Pro in particular takes TCP commands, but I do know it tweaks HTTP requests, so it is possible to do without event making a connection in widget.
