And now Marker !!

Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how to use the markers in the warper.
Then:
I started to create a simple object in blender, a box, configuring the room as recommended in this post: viewtopic.php?f=97&t=2764&p=7772&hilit=blender#p7772
I exported the object in 3ds format.
I imported the object into the warper and with the markers I projected it onto the box.
I then exported the mesh and uploaded it to a layer in the manager.

I expected to see the layer artwork totally on the object but it does not correspond at all!

I enclose some pictures to help you understand where I'm wrong.

Thank you so much, Alberto

Yes, it's because you use a Player.

Marker system moves the Camera in the Server around in virtual 3D space to match where the projector is.

In the Player, you only have the option to move the Camera X & Y Offset and rotate it on the Z-Axis.

In the Server, you can move the Viewpoint (position) of the Camera in 3D space, and the Target of the Camera (where it's looking in 3D space).
In the Player, these Cameras are fixed in one place.

I hope this helps,

I'm then trying to use the warper connected to the manager using live warp for a player.
Trying to make a simple deformation on a curved wall, I see that the preview of the exit player, in the manager, does not correspond to the position.
While if I insert a server I see the preview of the server, in the manager correctly positioned.

Now I wonder 'But the live warp also works on the player?', Also because the fx is active in the manager for the player versions !!

Thanks, Alberto

There are a few reasons - are the resolutions/expected resolution of the outputs the same in Pandoras Box and in the Warper?

Just curious though, you're using Version 6, why are you using an effect like this instead of just using the new Warping options right inside of the Preview?

For my tests Using miniprojectors with a native resolution of 854 x 480 pixels
The same projector uses it in simulated test with a server and real with a player.
At the start of the remote warper I propose a 1280 x 720 texture and in the manager I see the player at the same resolution 1280x720.
I do not think it's a problem of resolution because in the manager's preview I see the correct positioning on the server and not correct on the player.

Although I use the version 6 for the warper because not all of my customers have updated servers and then I have to be prepared with the warper especially then if I find servers updated so much better :D
