apply shadow to a layer

Postby satanete666 » Thu Mar 07, 2019 12:03 am

I want to apply a shadow to one layer like you can do in the scallers, if any effect to do , becausew e can do an alpha texture in another layer but will be more complicate when you need to resize move etc or change the size or the opacity.

Kind Regards

Hey,

you can add a simple shadow effect directly on layers but you have to resize the uv.
add a resize effect, scale down the uv, add a shadow effect,....
but in my mind it is not so complicated to write a simple shadow in hlsl.

Maybe i have a little bit time next week :-P

Best,
Benni

Please try the "Drop Shadow Alpha" effect in Pandoras Box:
