Hi, when are we going to see audio support in the encoder?

We do have that already inside of the encoder.

What are you looking to do specifically with audio in the encoder that it doesn't already do?

I think he is talking about V6.4.
It is a know issue there, also listed in the release notes.

Known restrictions of this version:
• no embedded audio support for QuickTime videos
• no audio support in encoder extension

It will come back in one of the next releases.

Hi gents, yes i'm talking about 6.4!
its making things really hard for the current purpose of pandoras. i really need to have audio in each video file im being handed by clients.
in our 'studio' pandoras is playing back content for a digital set, but im also using one output just for 16x9 playback on broadcast. these videos need to have audio...
i think i will just use millumin on a macbook and run it into one of my live DVI inputs.

i hope you can get this functionality back asap!
