Event Scripts

Hi All,

I'm having trouble with all scripts that modify Events in WD (WDEventMute/Script/Create/etc).

None of them seem to have any effect. For instance, WDEventMute("Show") does not mute the Event named "Show". The Event still runs and the mute field in the Event Viewer remains unchanged. There are no messages in the Debug Logger to suggest there is anything wrong with the script.

Is anyone else having this problem? So far I've tested in Rev 6800 and Rev 6322 on multiple Windows 7/10 machines with the same result.

Thanks very much,
Isaac

It seems we constantly have quite show stopping bugs that prevent features from working that get released.
The when we're stuck on a project that can't function because of these all we can do is "wait for the next release" with no hope of a timeline or even a list of known bugs anywhere.
Is this really satisfactory for a paid product?

Hi all,

we are honestly feeling sorry about the issues you are facing.

...all we can do is "wait for the next release"...

When running in time-critical or show-stopping issues, we are always open to help as good and as fast as possible with a fix. Depending on the cause and complexity of the issue, we are happy to share a fix in a beta version to secure your show. I cannot promise this in general, but we often help out customers with this unofficial solution.
Obviously, we still need to stick to our other prioritized work, but sometimes it is a simple fix which changes the world for you.

Please contact support via email in those matters.

Regards
Markus
