TVOne C2-6104A

Postby nailuj » Thu Mar 04, 2021 4:15 pm

Hey :)
Who is using a C2-6104A and can help me with some basics?
I am trying to trigger the front panel buttons via the WD pro, but i don't get it to run and the TVOne support cant help me with this

Example:
TcpStart(2)
WDWait(0.5)
TcpSend(2,"F041041024F000223??<CR>")
WDWait(0.5)
TcpStop(2)

This should select the window "A" on the multiviewer. When I send F041041024F000223??<CR> out of TVOnes CorioSuite its working fine, but the customScript in WD is not working ...maybe there is something wrong with the header?

Cheers

I know with the new CORIOmaster 2 you have to send a command to login to the system via WD to send the commands.
When you send the commands to this device do you have an input node with info output to see what the responses are?

Hey, thank you for your reply.
No i do not have to send a login command. Yes i tried that, but i do not get any response. I think WD designer is not sending anything > When i take a look into the "TCP Message Tester" for that ID, there is no outgoing command listed.

When you start the TCP connection, can you see "Connected" as the status in Widget Designer?

One thing I would check is what type of TCP device you have it set up as in the connection manager.
For instance, Create it as a client only with the IP and Port number and in the end of your command try changing it from <cr> to [CR][LF].
As it is working in the software I can't imagine that it is the latter ending being the problem but it's worth a try if nothing else.

Hey,
i set it up as client only with correct IP and Port.
But yeah, changing to [CR][LF] solved the problem! Thank you! :D (BTW. [CR] without the [LF] is also working)

It´s strange that someone who used this unit get it to work with the <CR>...

cheers

Glad to be of help!
I actually realized that we had the same unit here and looked in the manual.
The manual did have <cr> in it so I am curious if maybe it is just for use with their stuff?

Hey :)

Yes exactly, thats why i tried it with <cr>. I´ve talked with the TVOne support and they told me, that this should also works with 3rd party software. After i did not get it to run, I asked someone who also uses this unit and he copied me his command directly out of the WD. He also uses <cr> but without any problems. Someone told me, that this might be a problem with the windows language packet.
