Indicator light

Postby frozenwaffles » Tue Jul 09, 2024 11:04 am

It would be amazing if you could implement an 'Indicator Light' widget, much like a button.
Right now you have to make an object and then change its color using labels and nodes and all kinds of complex things.... just to make a light!

Use a node to input a 0 or 1 value to turn it on or off.
Make changing colour easy.
You could even add features like 'flashing' or allow variable inputs for dimming, etc.

Please and thankyou :)

That's kind of right, but by usin e.g. a shape, color it the way you want and then use the "visible" member to set it true or false may be close to your request?

Hi Thomas, yes i see your point.
Is your response essentially saying... 'No, we are not making an 'indicator light' for you' ? :)
