Hello,

Doesn't it come with some kind of software that's already quite flexible?

What would you expect Widget to offer?

Dennis

Hi,

I´m also currently trying to make it work with WD, but they both don´t like to talk to each other.

Yes, the Stream Deck does come with a nice piece of software to assign different commands to the buttons, but Widget would not understand those commands. I tried to assign Hotkeys to the Stream Deck, but WD does not read them. So currently I did not find a way to make it work.

It would be really cool if this could be implemented as we do use the Stream Decks a lot for other things and the are really nice little hardware controllers.
And it might offer an option to build a hardware controller to jump to a cue ID directly, which currently can only be done with the Revision 1 Hardware Controller aka Playback Extension. But this thing is really big if you travel a lot....

Cheers

Patrick

Justyn... Yes your completely right and sorry if you feel I wasnt being as forthcoming with some info..
I was short on time and it just seemed easier and quicker to message a good friend than put it up here in the first instance..

Anyway..
the way I have it working ..

In widget.. connections menu / remoting turn on the HTTP Listener(third box down) win xp only huh?? nope im on win 10.

my widget machine is IP 10.0.0.21 i have a fader ID 1..

in the streamdeck software
add a button from the system menu type website
check the box that says "access in background"
the URL request is HTTP://10.0.0.21/?{wdfaderup(1,1)}

done.. so basically standard WD commands piceked up by the HTTP listener

I have not tested this in the currrent 3.1 version of streamdeck - but I will and report back..
The last version I used was version 2.2.0.5165..
V2.3 of streamdeck did not work and I reported it to Elgato and they could see the issue and said they would fix.. also should say that elgato support were really quick to reply and super helpful.

so thats my current 'work around' but like everyone else has said.. I would also love to see native support of this into WD..

I think this would be great to address directly both in WD and Pandoras Box since the demise of the old Keyboard that came with Manager (I believe this is the case yes?).

I found having physical buttons for STORE, etc to be invaluable but more importantly keys to instantly jump to cues within a timeline. Having this on a hardware interface like the Stream Deck would be great.

Hi,
until Steamdeck is integrated into WD directly, there is an app called companion.
https://bitfocus.io/companion/

The latest nightly build (all Versions never Jan 20th 2019) also have WD Remoting support.
You can send any command directly from any Streamdeck even if it is connected over network on a different PC or MAC.

Daily builds can be found here:
https://builds.bitfocus.io/companion/

The latest Version can be downloaded under this link:
https://builds.bitfocus.io/companion/co ... -win64.exe

Hi,
Native support for Pandoras box in Companion has already been integrated? On the latest version 1.3.0 ( build 25/3) I only see the Widget Designer module.

Thank you
Dario

You are correct. For some reason it is not in the daily builds. I am working on resolving this.

Hi,

so I was trying to control my WD via Streamdeck.

I've created the tcp connection and can see the commands being received by wd in the test screen...
So I gave the command of a customscriptclick but it doesn't push the button... What am I missing?
What other steps do I need to do?

Kind regards
Katleen
