webinar #05

Postby schoissi » Wed Mar 25, 2020 8:58 pm

is there a way to check if the RSS Feed is active/online?
so one could make a notification (eventually by email) if the RSS Feed is lost?

in the script for Sunrise and Sunset events, we only changed the WDEventStart,
as the days go on, will the EventEndDate automatically adjust so it doesn't fall behind the Start time,
or is that something one doesn't have to worry about?

is there a way to assign the RSS "Single Text" via script to a variable, instead of RSS node to Variable Output Node aproach?

best,
Roman

HI Roman,
right now you need the Node System. There are a couple of RSS Commands, but they are working not correctly right now.
This bug has been reported.

Here is a small Project that extracts all the data out of the RSS Weather Feed.
Feel free to use and modify or comment.
