For anybody searching this topic on the forum, NotchLC is supported in v8.6.0.

Hi, so we have two machines in our pandoras system, with one manager. All running 8.6.0.
We have programmed the show with one 'server' that has 4 outputs and we are adding a 'player' that has 4 outputs to run as a backup. (switch happening via a lightware DVI matrix)
(we should have made a show file with a virtual site to make the backup swap easier, but we didn't)
On the server we can playback NotchLC files just fine, but on the player we cannot seem to get NotchLC files to play.
any ideas???
Its like the codec is not installed, but i didn't think you needed to do anything to play notchLC files besides updating to 8.6.0?

What are the specs of your machines?

NO codec needs to be installed. NotchLC is implemented natively in V8.6
