Multi-User Mesh editing issues

Hi, so im back in the Pandora game and using it on a complex blending project. We have seven projectors firing onto a screen that is as 'organic' as you could imagine. So complex warp!
We are running version 8.6 and we are trying Multi-User for the first time. Generally, it's a good experience.
However, every now and again, we have problems saving. We get a warning that a mesh is still being edited, even though this is not the case. Then neither user can save.
So we leave the session on the sub manager and then on the main manager we lose the mesh file for the last projector output we were editing.
Then we rejoin with the sub manager, drag the mesh file back on to the appropriate output and BAM! It's all ok again and we are back to how we are working.
So, no great drama, we didn't lose any work. But it does interrupt the workflow and progress. This happened at random times and it has happened about 3-4 times now over two 8-hour sessions of warping.
Any ideas?
