Blending Start Point?

Postby frozenwaffles » Thu Jul 07, 2022 10:51 pm

Hi, so im wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to change the start point for the blend curve?
I can't currently (in 8.6) see how you can do this???
If you can't then i will request this as a feature wish.
it needs to be work in both normal mode and 'warp mode'.
The slider needs to adjust how far into the output raster or the warp raster before the gamma curve starts.
Where this becomes super important is if you warp outside of your output raster. It becomes impossible to blend with the adjacent projector!
So many other blending tools have this feature.

Hi Jeremy,
You can use a mesh (sub mesh) file instead. Then the blending curve starts on the related side of this mesh file.
Does that help? If not, then please try to explain it more detailed and I'll add your wish to our feature list.
Cheers,
Yvonne

Hi, well the blend start point should behave just like the endpoint, except it controls where the blend starts rather than just defaulting to the edge of the raster of the output.
This should also follow the warp if you have that option checked.
does this make sense?
Its just a slider so it makes this really easy, rather than having to deal with more meshes...
