8 channel sound output

Postby dslnc studio » Wed Nov 24, 2010 9:42 am

Dear all

Like somebody probably have seen in other posts I am desperate to find an solution to output 8 channels sound from PBplayer pro with windows 7.
If anybody know of a soundcard that will work i will be more than pleased to know about it.

My failed attemps include:
motu ultralite mk3
motu 828 mk3
( for more info see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=692 )

We are doing a musical that starts in one week.
Our setup is 2xplayer pro and 1xmanager lt
So far the best solution we have is outputting 2 channels from each player . And sure we could buy 2 players std more to output 4 channels more...but hopefully there is a solution out there that pandoras box can play with

Cheers,

I have got that question quite a few times. And the answer is no.
Actually it would scare me trying to downgrade since all hardware are win7 certified and not win xp. (and the deadline is very close)
I would like to stay in windows7 with pb 4.7 since everything works there minus the multichannel audio support. And i really need the warper.

The warper works with XP too...

Maybe just get one machine to run in XP with a Player LT and the multichannel audio if you don't want to downgrade?
