Hi Matthias,
unfortunately there are only workarounds to set every 4th channel to 255:
1. possibility:
Using an Artnet Node that is able to merge (eg. ELC or Luminex).
Create your pixelpatch in the Matrix Patcher. The Fixture has to be created with an offset of 4 so that the exported pixelpatch looks like this:
channel 1: R
channel 2: G
channel 3: B
channel 4: free
channel 5: R
etc.
Now you could add a Generix DMX Device into your Device Tree in Pandoras Box and patch it to any free ArtNet Subnet/Universe. Set this channel to 255.
The Artnet Node then has to merge this channel into each "free" channel (= your dim channels).
2. possibility:
Create a pixel patch with the same size of the monitor's resolution.
Put the 4-channel offset fixtures (like mentioned above) into the middle.
And eg. into the top left corner you add a cloud of single-channel fixtures. Each fixture you have to address to one of your LEDs DIM-channels.
In Pandoras Box then the values for RGB are taken from the center of the patch, like usual.
And on your top layer in PB you put a white texture, scale it small and put it into the top left corner. So the DIM-channels get the value 255 while the RGB channels are linked to the content.
I hope this helps!
