Hi Philip,

as we are not working with final cut - please have a look at the Pandoras Box Help File. Under the section Content->Encoding and ->Video Formats you will get basic information about how to encode your video files the best way. Hope this helps you!

Best regards,

Dear Philip

the most important settings are:

progressive scan
framerate same as source

ntsc/pal
main level
main profile
constantbitrate 6000-8000

high level
high profile
10000-15000 for 1280x720;
20000-25000 for 1920x1080

As far as I know depending on the package you might only be able to export pal/ntsc size material

The best way in terms of quality would be to export quicktime animation and use the Mainconcept MediaEncoder on Pandoras Box to convert to mpeg2 SD or HD

Best regards
