LTC Timecode in and non-timecode sequence

Postby qtube » Thu Jun 12, 2014 4:44 am

Dear Forum

We are trying to play a video synced to a device that sends LTC-Timecode. The framerate of the video, timecode and sequences in Pandoras Box and the outptu are all at 24fps.
The syncing works well and the sequence plays perfect with the timecode. However I've got another sequence, which shouldn't sync with the timecode and I should be able to play and pause this sequence, no matter what the timecode input is.
Strangely I can start the sequence, but then it gradually slows down until it reaches pause. When I disconnect the SMPTE-Interface the sequence works as it should.

The timecode options for the sequences are set correctly. We are using version 5.5 Rev 9926 (Manager STD with PB Server STD).

Thanks for your help

Hi qtube,

this sounds very wrong.
Can you please send us that showfile (XML only) to Support(at)coolux.de

When you say that it slows down, over what period of time are we talking? Secounds, Minutes?

Can you also check if you haved used the layer that the Video of Seqence 2 is running on has anything on it on Seqence 1 that is locked to timecode?

Daniel
