Is it possible to turn off the function where PB Server/MM checks the files during app startup. I have over 1000 files and it takes about 30 minutes to get the server up and running. 99% of the time I don't ever change these files.

the files are not only checked also the video componentes are loaded into Ram.
The upcomming 4.5 will load files much faster as the loading process has been optimized.
