MA2 CITP Video Viewer

Does PB support the CITP video viewer function on the MA2? I am able to exchange thumbnails, but I get 0/10 fps when the device is selected in the CITP video viewer window. I feel like the reason is because pandoras box is not sending the data. If it is not a feature, is it in the works? Thanks!

I would imagine that MA has locked this to only work with their server...
A phone call to them (again, guessing here) "if you want it to work.. buy our unit not theirs" or something to that effect.

I have seen the thumbnails work with the MA VPU (Video Processing Unit) and it looks great though...

Hi all,

Pandoras Box only supports Thumbnail exchange at the moment. If and when this changes I do not know.
I can tell you coolux is aware of CITP Video Streaming.

What would your application look like and what would you stream?

Content of a Layer? With or whithout FX?
Content of an Output? Or a Camera?

If you can only have one which one would it be and why?

oh wow, didn't even realise that PB didn't support this yet! please do!
Obviously here will be bandwidth restrictions but it would be nice to be able to choose what to output!
I would have at a guess its more about layers at the console end. if you are running video from the LX console, you really should have a real multi-viewer for your outputs.
that's my 2c worth anyways...
hopefully we can elaborate on this more.

But with a function to disable please... When I work with several hundret clips I d'ike to keep my Network free of that. And yes I know it works only wit the MA Videoservers.
