Using 3D active projector

Postby loggyskin » Thu Jan 15, 2015 8:42 am

Hi

I'm planing a 3D theater with 6 active 3d projectors.
When I tried to use Frame Packing or Frame Sequential, I couldn't use the 3d formats with PB. (is it right?)

So, I tested Side by Side with PB.
It works but it has one problem.

If I applied a mesh in output, there was something strange.
Can't I use a mesh with SBS 3d format?

Thanks

Hi,
how many signals are connected to one projector?
If you want to use Frame Packing, Frame Sequential or Side by Side you have to adjust the settings in your projectors. The settings are not in PB because PB just playback only the content as it is.
What kind of mesh object is it? And what do you planning exactly with the object?

Regards

The projector has only 1 FHD signal.
So I tried Side by Side 3D contents in PB.

If I adjust only projector setting, SBS is okay in PB.
But, I made a 2d mesh(x) for a delicate warping.

When I applied the mesh in PB output, the real output is not right.

Anyways, I solved the problem.
The Key is using 2 layer for each L, R source. Then applied the mesh to two layers.

Thanks.
