VNC Full Screen

Postby rbergens22 » Tue Jan 20, 2015 10:19 pm

Hello,

I have successfully connected to my servers via VNC remote and their outputs are functioning properly. However, on my Master server (from which I am using VNC Remote), when I go to Full Screen, the image goes to black. End goal: I would love to be able to use a Viewer Only VNC Panel in WD. If anyone can shed some light on why the VNC Remote window changes the display to black when I go full screen, even though the outputs are still functioning properly, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,

Rob

Hello,

Not all VNC Servers can capture what is going on on the PB Output. That usually happens on Windows 7 and Windows 8 systems, because the newer Windows versions have new Display Managers that might deny access to the display content to the VNC Server.

I see. Is there any other way to have WD display the current content in PB? A link to the preview window perhaps?

if wd is running on your manager, then you can cut a hole in WD using a color key to see the preview.
