Postby andrebremer » Thu Feb 05, 2015 5:46 pm

Hello again,
My screen have 1728x576 pixels of the resolution and we use .mv2 files, but now, we change the screen to 2304x768 pixels.
.m2v have max resolution 1920x1080.
What the best format to work with my new resolution (2304x768) ??
thanks!!!

Hello again,

you have 2 Options:

a) if you have a SSD Server: DDS Image Seq

b) if you have regular Harddrives: .mxl Videos.
This is our own codec. It is based on MPEG2 and follows the same roules only that you can encode up to a resolution of 4080x2800.

Everything about is written here:
http://www.coolux.de/root/downloads/sup ... ension.htm

Workflow:
Either render PNG Image Seq and use the ImageConverter to Convert to MXL or export Quicktime PhotoJPEG and Convert to mxl using the Encoder in Pandoras Box.
In booth cases you will need the Encoder Extention.

I hope this helps.

Keep in mind that you will be unable to play these files with a Player STD or Lite.

I thought you did not need the encoder extension to convert to DDS... But I might be mistaken about that.
