I find the description of 'Autoscroll' misleading. it should be called 'Autosnap' as it snaps the view and then the marker moves. there is no scrolling going on at all...

Hi, does anyone know if there is a way to make the marker stay in the middle of the timeline window and have the timeline actually scroll under the marker?

It's not possible right now but the feature you are requesting is already on the wishlist.
When programming I really like the scrolling like it is now, because my view doesn't move around. For rehearsal/live however I'd rather have the scrolling just like you described, but maybe with a 1-third or 1-fourth option so that i see more of what's coming up next.
I'm also looking forward to this one.
