Hidden folders

Hi,

Anyone got any ideas on this...

I have inherited a project which has its media in the default asset folder but within that, the files are stored in hidden folders.
I can see the folders and files in Windows Explorer but not in the Asset tree within the manager.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Chris

Hi Chris,

I was able to rebuilt your problem and I couldnĀ“t see the hidden folder in the assettree as well.

But I was also able to change the path of the files globally.
I had a hidden folder named ".screenshots" and made a new folder called "newdir".
All my used files in PB were in the ".screenshots" folder. I copied all of them to the "newdir" folder.

In the projectfolder I opened the project xml-file with wordpad and exchanged ".screenshots" to "newdir" - save
With the exchange function you can exchange all with one click or you can step through all to be sure.
I opened PB again and all the files had a new directory.

I recommend to backup everything first.

Best regards,
Yvonne

Hey,

Is it possible to un-hide the folders temporarily?

Regards
Dennis
