Coolux QT Codec

Postby tjay » Thu Sep 10, 2015 4:55 am

Hi all.

I have installed coolux codec, in premier pro CS6.OSX 10.9.5

Render output as quicktime using coolux codec.

When i open the MOV I get a coolux blue screen stating "This placeholder video was created by Quicktime as part of coolux image sequence generation. You may delete this file after all your exports have completed. You can find the individual image files in the folder you chose in the codec settings."

No actual video ??? Any help.

Hi tjay!

As the video is already telling you, you've selected to export an image sequence and not a video file:
"You can find the individual image files in the folder you chose in the codec settings."

Within the codec settings (image format setup), you specify an output folder in which you will find the final exported images.
Otherwise deactivate the "as image sequence" and you will find a regular video file.

Please find detailed information in the included helpfile within the codec or here:

Cheers

Nah. Its a bug in the mac version. The image sequence does not get created on most Mac computers (it works on my old laptop, but not my new one, nor any other mac I have tried lately).

...Unless you are one of the lucky people that it works for and you just missed the folder it saved to.

Thanks for the replies.

Markus, I can't open the codec settings, a dialog box pops up for a micro second then closes.

I have searched the whole directory for anything that represents an image sequence or the converted video to no avail, so I will agree with malkuth23's post.

Thanks anyway.

Hi,

there was a bad installer up for a couple of hours. It is fixed by now. Re-Download and install to make it work. If it doesn't help contact our support team.

Regards
