Hi everyone,
since Microsoft introduced the new start menu with Windows 8, your "APPs screen" will get more and more crowded with multiple installations of Pandoras Box.
Starting with Revision 12383 we brought all corresponding items into a common folder instead of ending up with 15 warpers side by side.
If you wanna get rid of all old shortcuts without clicking on each one separately, easily right click one of the "old" items and open its file location.
Windows will navigate a file browser within the "start menu" folder. You will see all installed versions separated into their folders and holding its own shortcuts. Unfortunately Windows is not logging / showing more than one folder in depth. This is why all shortcuts end up at the same "coolux" folder within the start menu.
Revision 12383 creates its folder directly within the "start menu -> programs" folder and is therefore visible as a combined structure within the start menu for WIn8 and Win10.
Easily delete the complete "coolux" folder from within the "start menu -> programs" folder. This will dump all older revisions and tools from the menu at once.
You can still run all installed applications and you can re-pin your needed Shortcuts to the start menu.
Hope this helps along. It cleaned up my start menu massively.
Cheers
Markus
