Font Errors with Text Editor

I am having an issue with Fonts and Text Editor. We are using a design that has dynamic text as part of the content. The look is very specific and we have some fonts that are not standard.

I have installed two fonts that are required. I have no issue with one of the fonts, however with the other I get a "serious error" and a message the font is not installed. I verified the font was installed, restarted Pandora, computer, etc. Still the same error.

How can I correct this as I can not substitute fonts?

Thanks, Happy New Year!

Hi Jay!

Are you using the font on a single machine or do you have a "Master - Client" constellation?
If so, please make sure to have the font installed on all machines as fonts are not spread by Pandoras Box.

Are both fonts "true type"?

Cheers
Markus

They are installed on all the machines. I did not check if the were True Type. They may be OTF. I will have to check when I get back in. Does the font always have to be true type?

Hi!

Yes, fonts basically need to be true type. This is what we officially support.
There seems to be a way around it, but I have never tested it myself and it is restricted as you can see it in this post:
