Hello,

The problem that you might be having is that you are limited to a certain amount of effects per layer. That's why you can not add any additional effects to the layer.

Remove the Effect by right clicking -> remove effect. This can be done in the "Devices Tab" in the bottom center pane. Double click the layer and then double click the "FX" folder to see the effect. After removing the effect you are allowed to put another one in by dragging it from the Aeon FX tab down onto the server/player's layer.
Finally, you can patch the effect in the patch tab (shortcut CTRL + P)

Edit: clarified answer

If you scroll down to "training videos" there is one for Aeon FX.

It's explained pretty well in there how to add FX to a layer.

It would be cool if people built and shared fixture profiles for AeonFX that aren't in the LX Fx collection.

I am not at the workstation right now, but as i remember i will find something like "Server FX 16bit 9Ch" under "Device>Layer>FX" ...and there i have to remove my effect, put in another one and patch it again?
I will give it a try. Thank you!

I like the idea of sharing profiles ;)
