Offline demo manager v5 preview not working

Postby jldpaula » Thu Mar 17, 2016 3:53 pm

Hi,
Just recently installed the offline manager (demo) latest version available. I can´t see anything in preview windows. There is not even a black screen. Just appears "Initializing render engine". I´m using a msi laptop with w10, i7 and gtx660m. all drivers are updated.

Hello,

Windows 10 is not yet supported.
But you could try the following setting in the NVDIA control panel:
Manage 3D settings > Program Settings > Select the preferred graphic processor for this program: High performance NVDIA processor.

Is the Offline Editor still not supported by Windows 10? Still receiving the "Initializing render engine."

Hi,
all PB Versions are not officially supported by Win 10.

Anyway, there are ways to get Manager to work. On Laptops with integrated and dedicated graphics cards you'll have to play around with the settings which device is applied to Pandoras Box (those settings differs on Laptops, there is not 'the one working' setting). On some systems it was helpful to disable the cpu integrated graphic chip completely. As this setting is influencing the stability and the performance of your device please make those settings at your own risk (no description on how to at this point).
