input 3G sync options

Postby portal14 » Sat Jul 09, 2016 5:39 pm

We want to sync input 1 and 2 on a 4 input 3g card to be able to take in a 3840x1080 graphics input. Then we want to use input 3 and 4 as separate camera feeds. The idea is that keynote transitions using the 3840x1080 input will be locked. and the input 3 and 4 would be separate 1080 feeds. Is this possible? Or will it lock 3 and 4 together as well?

Hi,
this should be possible.
Are the seperate 1080 feeds from different sources?
Are all 3 systems on the same timing?
Can you tell us a little more about where the signals are coming from?

Hi,

ok, after some testing, here is the result.

Input 1 and Input 2 Synced eched 1080p30
Input 3 and Input 4 not Synced as 1080i59.54 or 1080p60

works fine.

Please be aware that you will need to Stitch Input 1 and 2 together to 1 Image yourself!
Also be aware that depending on the content you might see a single wrong colored vertical line. This is because of the 4:2:2 Colorcoding of SDI.

What about 1080p@59.94 synced. Is that possible?

SO In 1 and 2 synced and then re-stiched

3 and 4 discreet.

all doing 1080p 59.94?

Daniel?

Any issues you see with everything being 59.94?

Hi,
no I do not see any issues, but it was not tested explicitly.
