3d Objects in Warper tool

Postby ^nto » Wed Feb 08, 2017 12:59 pm

Hi all!

I had some problems with a 3d mapping and live warping..

I was able to import the obj or fbx file in the output and then using the live warper.. but I spent lot of time to place good the cameras before starting with the warp.

I'm trying to use Markers:

http://www.coolux.de/root/downloads/sup ... warper.htm

but I'm not able to use it yet because I'm not able to import the 3d file in Warper.
I've imported the obj or fbx, I can sow it in the mesh list but I have nothing on the screen.. I can't saw the object.

Can someone explane me step by step the correct flow to operate with 3d object, from warper to PB project?

Thanks a lot! Best regards!

I will update soon this topic with some screenshoots.

Hello,

did you get any message (pop up window) while importing the object in warper?
Did you enable the advanced settings? (Warper > Edit > Advanced Mode)
How many vertices has the object?

You can also write an email with the attached object and we will have a look at it: Support.pandorasbox@christiedigital.com

Cheers,
Yvonne

The two pop up message that appear with a total new project are the following:

- Would you marge the 3d obj with the current project

- whant to load 3d scene in parts

Yes.. I'm using advanced mode

Now I'm trying with a simple 3ds file (the only one that appear in warper) with 16 vertices (2 cube with one smaller) made with Sketchup + UV plug in (I'm trying also with gmax).

From this dropbox folder can download 3 files, the file named "Cubo.UV.3ds" produce the view attached, but in that situation I'm not able to do nothing!

Thank you for the file.

So, your object is quite huge. In Warper please go to "Camera/View" tab and click "Reset" and zoom out. Now you should see your object.

Best regards,
Yvonne

What Warper Revision are you using? I tested your file in Rev 216 and Rev 219.
You have to zoom out many steps, but you can also enter for the parameter "Position Z" in "Camera/View" something like: -600
Your object is far away from the coordinate system.

Does it work now?

Best regards,
Yvonne

Ok!

Now i can sow it!

For you this z position is caused by the scale and positioning (XYZ) of the 3d obj project?

And now? What is next step for a good workflow? (meantime i'm greating a real project in my home)
