KIOSK mode auto start on Boot

Trying to get Kiosk mode to start on boot, just like client or master mode does.
It should be an obvious choice on PB menu, but I can't seem to figure it out.
Thoughts?

Thank you

p.s. An auto-play function on startup playlist would be imperative too. :)

I guess the solution was to be a little more creative with custom start, than just copy pasting the (otherwise) obvious shortcut to Kiosk mode....

go to settings --> Pandora's box.

choose the right revision & master/client mode & there you go!

At now if you want to boot on start the kiosk mode you can use the PB munu Configuration > Custom Start where you have 3 items to configure and launch on boot.
The auto-play function on startup playlist is already available using Pandoras Box version 6.

Thank you all for your input. @vester86 I was talking about kiosk mode not Master/Client. @ricky, i was talking about 5.10. And the custom start doesn't really work as expected. Pointing the custom start to the Kiosk shortcut PB creates by itself, only launches PB in master mode. You have to manually type in the custom start/action box the fulll adress and filename. e.g.
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\PB Player Pro 5.10 Rev 13378\PB Player Pro 5.10 Rev 13378 - Kiosk Mode

to get it to work.

but it does work, even with this not so straightforward workaround.
Now for auto-play on 5.10, since 6 is not fully released yet...?

Hey,

You could trigger the web server that is already in 5.10 Kiosk. See the demo page in c:/coolux/content/web_root/kiosk/ (or similar). It's a bit tricky... I'm on the road with no PC, so I can not provide an example right now. Sorry :/

The next PB Menu will likely include the Kiosk startup option.

Regards
Dennis

Can you put the shortcut (of the kiosk mode) in the startup folder of your start menu??
